Freddie ‘Krugger’ Bertrand is a two-time Belgian national enduro champion and an ex-rally driver. The bike you see here is the Krugger Goodwood, built around a Harley-Davidson v-twin engine, which also acts as the chassis. The Krugger Goodwood was a 6 month project built from scratch by Frederic as a Bonneville Salt Flats special.
Almost everything had been built by Fred himself. He chose a Buell Firebold XB12R v-twin for the Goodwood, which produces around 100HP in standard form. The wheels are from a Harley V-Rod bike and stopping is provided by two 6-pistons on the front and one 6-piston-caliper on the rear. The complete exhaust was formed from tempered stainless steel and the pipe’s ends are wrapped with asbestos-tape to avoid too much heat radiating toward the tanks. The design is also unique and handsome, the Goodwood almost seems like it should have its own racing series.
