The Falcon Black from Ian Barry is the third motorcycle in the Concept 10 series from Los Angeles-based Falcon Motorcycles. The bike widely considered amongst the Top Ten best bikes ever made, and the fastest standard motorcycle in the world for over a quarter century.
The Black Falcon features a 1952 Black Shadow 1,000 cc V-twin engine that was discovered in pieces. Polished, made lighter and stronger, the blueprinted engine was making a full 75 horsepower. Under the guidance of Ian Barry, a six-man team took a full year to complete this custom. The bike collected a thousand Facebook likes in few days is good enough to say its class.
