German manufacturer Horex has revealed the all new VR6 1218cc six-cylinder engine motor bike that comes with 161hp on tap and 100 ft lb of peak torque. It is a perfectly-balanced roadster with unique VR technology and a self-assured, clean design. This bike radiates a sense of vitality, dynamism and raw power.
Official figures and a few more details about the construction of the Roadster have been announced. Horex claims a peak power output of 161 metric hp (158.8 hp) at 9000 rpm. Final weight is still to be determined but Horex says the Roadster should weigh in about 550 pounds.
The German roadster reaches 74 lbs ft of torque at 3,500rpm, which fits well with the company’s hope of making the VR6 easy to ride on city streets. Horex also claims an electronically-limited top speed of 250 kph (155 mph). Horex hopes to have the base model Horex VR6 out in the spring of 2012.
