The Honda GB500 Tourist Trophy was a short lived model which, despite its classic appearance, was only made for 2 years, in 1989 and 1990. Similar to many TT-winning race-bikes, it was a 500cc big single. A tube frame, wire wheels and retro-styled gas tank completed the vintage ‘clubman’ look.
Even the engine specification sounds particularly mid-century British with an air-cooled single cylinder 498cc OHC engine producing 43 HP at 7700 rpm. Honda GB500 TT never sold well in the USA because it was considered too small and too slow for the average American rider. Take a look!
