2012 Kawasaki KX450F Quick Review

KX450F Pipe Side

The Kawasaki KX450F is becoming the jack-of-all-trades in the dirt-bike world. The race-winning power and confident handling of Kawasaki’s KX450 are back in an even sleeker and more advanced package than ever before.  The new KX450F features an all new Launch Control Mode, which changes DFI settings with the push of a button to maximize traction out of the starting gate.

Kawasaki also worked to improve reliability by including a thicker first gear, a revised crankshaft designed to improve low-end throttle response and engine balance. Another cool styling touch is the embossed clutch cover that makes the bike appears less haggard during the course of normal wear and tear. The KX450F is uniquely able to adapt to changing track and surface conditions and meet the needs of a surprisingly wide range of riders.
