American Honda has finally unveiled its latest 2012 offering, the NC700X in New York International Motorcycle Show. The NC700X is the second bike powered by Honda’s new 670cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine, with a 6-speed manual or optional auto-shifting Dual-Clutch Transmission which make it optimal for any urban situation.

The new NC700X will also be offered in a standard non-DCT system with manual six-speed transmission just like the VFR. Honda claims a peak of 51 hp at a modest 6250 rpm rated at the crankshaft, which will likely translate into about 45 horses at its 160/60-17 rear tire. Most impressive is the NC700X’s price, starting at an incredibly low $6999, while price for the DCT/Combined Anti-lock Braking System bike has not been set.  Check out photos!
